Granny VS Zombies Slot Machine

Pear Fiction brings a dose of humour, horror, and heroism to the reels with Granny VS Zombies, a quirky and engaging online slot that flips the traditional zombie narrative on its head. Instead of cowering survivors or gritty apocalypse survivors, this game stars a gun-toting granny on a mission to protect her peaceful retirement community from an onslaught of the undead.

Granny VS Zombies follows a familiar 5x4 reel layout and uses a ways-to-win mechanic. Instead of traditional paylines, players win by landing matching symbols from left to right on adjacent reels, which keeps the action flowing and the combinations dynamic. The game sits comfortably within modern standards for video slots, offering a balanced mix of frequent smaller wins and the occasional larger payout that keeps gameplay fresh over longer sessions.

The paytable is where Pear Fiction’s attention to detail really shines. Low-paying symbols include familiar card ranks (J, Q, K, A), styled with blood-splattered designs. Premium symbols include a cast of elder defenders and zombie antagonists, each illustrated with comic flair.

The highest-paying regular symbol is Granny herself — a pint-sized powerhouse who dishes out the biggest wins. The zombie horde symbols also serve a dual role, sometimes expanding or activating special features.

The game features both Wild and Scatter symbols. The Wild substitutes for all standard symbols and helps form winning combinations, while Scatters are your ticket to the game’s thrilling bonus round.

At random, Granny may activate her Boomstick Bonus during base game spins. This bonus adds Wilds to the reels in explosive style, with animations of Granny firing her blunderbuss into the horde. It’s a short, punchy feature that adds excitement and helps break up stretches of standard gameplay with some high-win potential.

The Horde Wilds is a progressive reel invasion that can turn an ordinary spin into something special. A wave of zombies may shuffle across the screen, turning random reels entirely Wild. It’s a great visual moment, and if it connects with matching symbols, the resulting payout can be impressive.
