The Royal Family are without question one of the most famous families in the world, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t entitled to a private life. So, with the Princess of Wales and King Charles both recently in hospital for planned surgeries, they should be commended for talking openly about something which happens to many. While they undoubtedly have the right to keep some things behind closed doors, it’s very admirable that they didn’t on this occasion.

Kate is without a doubt one of the most popular and prominent figures of the Royal Family, her style, grace and compassion have enabled the family to become more approachable to the public. Her absence over the next few weeks will hit the royals and her devoted admirers hard, as William is left to fly the flag for the Wales’.
As younger royals Kate and William are tasked with more engagements and public appearances than the older King and Queen. The duo are a powerhouse when it comes to greeting the public and appearing more relatable with their relaxed nature, witty jokes and confidence.
William will be able to handle the engagements on his own, but I’m sure the public will be disappointed to not see his wife by his side.
Lucky To Have The Royals
Like the true Queen she is, I’m confident Kate will come back better than ever, with her head held high alongside her husband, but not before a well earned rest. The same goes for the King too.
This should serve as a reminder of how lucky we are to have them. The royals might be used to having their private lives splashed across the papers - which must often hit them hard when it might not even be the full truth and they are restricted from speaking out - but for them to exercise control over the narrative in this shows real strength of leadership and will serve as a comfort and inspiration to the masses.
