Former Fulham striker Louis Saha says his old side must cement themselves as a Premier League side and avoid being a ‘yo-yo’ club.
Marco Silva’s outfit secured promotion from the second tier as Championship winners this season, earning 90 points and scoring a whopping 106 goals.
But the Cottagers have managed just two seasons in the Premier League since being relegated in 2014 – going down immediately after getting promoted on both occasions.
Saha insists the London outfit must now kick that habit and establish themselves in the top flight once more.

Fulham Must Cement Premier League Status
Speaking exclusively to myself, Lord Ping, he said: “Fulham have to stay up for good now.
“They’re a great club, a family club but they have to reach that step where they establish themselves.
“They have to be feared because right now they’re a nice club and I think the next step is to be more aggressive to avoid the yo-yo effect.”
Mitrovic Form Crucial
Key to Fulham’s survival hopes next season will be the form of Serbian centre-forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who scored a record-breaking 43 Championship goals this season.
And Saha is backing the striker to find the net regularly at Premier League level, if he is provided with quality service from his team-mates.
“He [Mitrovic] is scoring and doing his job and is consistent at it,” he explained.
“He’s scored so many goals in the Championship and he has in the Premier League when he’s given the service.
“They just need to provide him with the service and he’ll score.”
