Royal Return
Prince Harry, I’m watching you. And, no, not in the usual way in which you want to have everyone’s eyes on you. I’m watching your plan unfold and I think it’s time to tread carefully.
It’s not a secret that Prince Harry wants a return to the Royal Family. Well, that’s my opinion anyway. He’s clearly bored by Los Angeles and may even be feeling a touch of regret about turning his back on his family.
But now, with his family needing everyone who can step up to play their part, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Prince Harry use this as an opportunity to win favour with the public by riding in to save the day.
It’s said that Meghan is piling on the pressure for him to return. There is no doubt she also wants more of the spotlight on her after pulling her husband and family away from the Royal Family.
Carefully Orchestrated PR
So, what does Harry do now? I wouldn’t be surprised to see him try and look like a knight in shining armour and ride to the rescue in a carefully orchestrated PR stunt that sees him dramatically return to the action.
What I’m looking out for is whether there are any signs that he might make a return out of doing the right thing, or whether he’s doing it for himself. Both are very different and I will be very disappointed if it’s the latter of those options.
It seems that another short visit with his father and The King is in the works, I just hope that he’s coming to see him out of the kindness of his heart rather than testing the water and soft-launching himself with the public. What would be better is if that was a private meeting and the details of it don’t mysteriously spill out via US news publications - I wonder how that could happen.
