I personally cannot wait for the 2024 Six Nations to commence this Friday evening in Paris, where both France and Ireland are seeking to repair their reputation after disappointing World Cup campaigns.

Fresh off of a wave of optimism thanks to the Netflix documentary focusing on the 2023 Championship, Test match rugby is likely to have brand new eyeballs focused firmly on the action this year and I am expecting two massive outcomes this year: French dominance to return, and a new Irish superhero to emerge like a phoenix from the proverbial ashes.

France will be less formidable due to the absence of their talismanic captain Antoine Dupont,, as he pursues his Olympic dream with the Sevens side.
